The moments I never dreamed of were now my reality. The idealized lifestyle I carefully crafted for 15+ years came crashing down right before my eyes. I lived in the moment because I feared that if I blinked, I would miss it. As a Nurse, I pride myself on finding solutions to challenges but this time was different. I had to sit in reality and acknowledge the discomfort of knowing that my life would never be the same again.
